Embracing Holistic Wellness: Nurturing Your Mind, Body, and Spirit
You Are Mother Nature

I want you to be well. That’s it. That’s all…
I want you to be strong.
I want you to be brave.
To be authentic. To stand tall.
I want you to be able to do what you want to do. What you have longed to do.
I want you to feel as special as you want to feel.
To shine as bright as many stars.
To be proud of decisions and able to navigate disappointments.
I want you to be YOU in your purest form. I want you to be fine with knowing that obstacles are a part of the journey.
I want you to be active and able. To jump and take leaps.
I want you to be able to face things head on and see yourself as unstoppable in the actions that align with your mission…
But what does that mean? What does it mean to be well?
What mission am I speaking of?
What does that look like? What does it FEEL like? To be well?
To be authentically you?
Let me ask you…
What would it take for you to feel special?
How would you have to be in order to fully receive the benefits of seeds? The seeds of lessons and life?
Do you have the skills to harvest? To harvest the knowledge and wisdom that comes with your journey?
Are you open to being nurtured?
She Works
To be well is to nurture a garden. A most beautifully messed up garden on a mission of self healing. To be well is to know that the garden is you. The garden is an awareness of self. You on display, your strengths and weaknesses. Where you focus and where you neglect. Let me set the scene, close your eyes and picture the most beautiful place in nature. Somewhere you create with no limitations. This garden is for you and you alone. This garden is however you dream it. Waterfalls, fairies, flowers and daisies. Rivers, lakes, animals, mountains, beaches, and any other landscape.

Let’s now add awareness.
Where you have the lush greenery or lack thereof it is your mental wellness. What do I mean? The plants and trees and flowers are seeds in your mind. Things you decide to nurture and grow. Areas of hurt and pain, places of neglect and redirect. Areas of growth and ambition. You may have flowers with thorns to represent something or dead trees to represent another. you may have areas
Think of the sky as your spirit. How much light do you let it? What does your seasons look like? Is your sky smog filled and limited? Think of you in this garden? What work are you willing to do?
Now, I know that the image you imagined at the beginning of this exercise may look different than what we ended up with but that was truth peaking through. It is how you see you. The scene is a reflect of how you are painting your masterpiece. A reflection of how you are living life. As holistic spiritual women, we understand the importance of nurturing not just our physical bodies but also our minds and spirits. We understand that if we want to prosper we have to clear our skies and allow light. We understand that we have to mow our lawn, plant new trees, and prune dead leaves. Holistic wellness is about embracing a comprehensive approach to health that honors the interconnectedness of all aspects of our being. If we want to be well, there is more to just being ABLE to do it. It takes more than KNOWING what to do. It is more than just a FEELING.
To be holistically well is to prioritize ALL ASPECTS OF SELF. By prioritizing self-care and embracing holistic practices, we can cultivate a sense of balance, harmony, and inner peace in our lives. At the heart of holistic wellness lies the recognition that true health encompasses more than just the absence of illness—it encompasses a deep sense of wholeness and vitality that extends to every aspect of our being. As holistic spiritual women, we understand that our mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being are just as important as our physical health. We understand that mental wellness, in particular, plays a vital role in nurturing a healthy mind and spirit. It involves practices such as meditation, mindfulness, and self-reflection, which can help us manage stress, cultivate resilience, and foster emotional balance. It is the fertilizer for our garden, the extra we provide our soil.
Incorporating the holistic wellness practices mentioned above into our daily lives can have profound effects on our overall well-being. Your garden will become brighter and you will start cultivating healing to reach the garden you once envisioned. By nurturing our minds, bodies, and spirits, we can experience a greater sense of vitality, joy, and fulfillment. We will be able to create new paths and reconstruct old belief patterns. We will be able to destroy old monuments and old thought processes and build new ones in their place that allow for sunlight and growth. No, baby this is no small task. But I do want you to know that I will be here for you!
As we embark on this journey of holistic wellness, let us remember to approach it with kindness, compassion, and self-love. Let us honor our bodies as sacred vessels of divine energy and treat them with the care and respect they deserve. We are not here to put you through the ringer or to let you drown in the tasks of the world. Gardening is a skill. A skill we will learn together. Let us nourish our minds with positive thoughts, affirmations, and practices that uplift and inspire us. And let us connect with our spirits through meditation, prayer, and moments of quiet reflection, knowing that we are supported and guided every step of the way.
My friends, this will not be easy. Holistic wellness is not just a trend or a fad—it’s a way of life that honors the sacred connection between mind, body, and spirit. Let us embrace this journey of self-discovery and self-care with open hearts and open minds. Let us support and uplift one another as we navigate the ups and downs of life, knowing that together, we can create a world that is more vibrant, joyful, and full of love. So let us take a moment to breathe deeply, center ourselves, and affirm our commitment to nurturing our holistic well-being each and every day.
